Our guidelines for refunds and cancellations of fazaa card memberships

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Save Dubai ("we," "our," or "us") will process refunds for fazaa card memberships. Our goal is to ensure fair and transparent refund procedures while maintaining the integrity of our premium discount program.

2. Cooling-Off Period

2.1 Digital Cards

For digital fazaa cards that have not been activated, we offer a 7-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. During this period, you may request a full refund without providing a specific reason.

2.2 Physical Cards

For physical fazaa cards, we offer a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you receive your card. The card must be returned to us unused and in its original packaging.

3. Refund Eligibility After Activation

3.1 Value Guarantee

In alignment with our Value Guarantee (as detailed in our Terms & Conditions), if you don't save at least twice the value of your fazaa card investment within the first 90 days of activation, you may qualify for a membership extension rather than a monetary refund.

3.2 Service Issues

If you experience significant and recurring issues with the fazaa card service that substantially prevent you from using the benefits as advertised, you may be eligible for a partial refund. Such issues must be:

  • Reported to our customer service team within 30 days of discovery
  • Documented with specific examples and dates
  • Not resolved satisfactorily after reasonable attempts by our team

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • After the cooling-off period has expired and the card has been activated
  • If you have already used the fazaa card to access discounts or special offers
  • For changes in personal circumstances that limit your ability to use the card
  • Due to temporary unavailability of specific partner establishments
  • If you have violated the Terms & Conditions of the fazaa card program

5. Refund Process

5.1 How to Request a Refund

Your request should include:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • Your fazaa card membership number
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for requesting a refund

5.2 Review Timeline

We will acknowledge receipt of your refund request within 2 business days and aim to review and respond with a decision within 10 business days.

5.3 Refund Methods

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. The time required for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and typically takes 5-10 business days.

6. Partial Refunds

In certain cases, we may offer partial refunds based on:

  • The duration the membership has been active
  • The benefits already received
  • The specific circumstances of the refund request

The calculation method for partial refunds will be explained when the refund decision is communicated.

7. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation of your fazaa card membership stops future renewal but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current membership period. Refunds are subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.

8. Special Circumstances

We recognize that exceptional situations may arise. In cases of:

  • Extended medical emergencies preventing card usage
  • Permanent relocation outside the UAE
  • Other extraordinary circumstances

We may consider special accommodations on a case-by-case basis. Documentation to verify such circumstances may be required.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The policy that was in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your refund request.
